TerraTherm has maintained a perfect safety record since our founding in 2000.  Over 129,000 hours have been worked without a lost-time injury or OSHA recordable incident.  TerraTherm has accomplished this remarkable record through adherence to a Corporate Health & Safety Program that places a high importance on conscientious attention to individual and team responsibility.

In practice, most of the contaminants are destroyed in the soil before reaching the surface. Contaminants that have not been destroyed in-situ are removed from the produced vapor stream at the surface with an air pollution control system. The vapor treatment train may consist of a thermal oxidizer, heat exchanger, carbon absorbers, and vacuum blowers. With this system, destruction and removal efficiencies [DRE] in excess of 99.999999% have been achieved in the stack effluent. TerraTherm prevents fugitive emissions by applying a vacuum to the treatment zone beneath a surface vapor barrier.
